Last day of Winter Break 2010

It is only 2 days but better than nout. Just fooling around on the computer looking for stuff I can't afford! Went to look at Honda's yesterday I spent 2 hours of torture at the dealership. Drove a CRV (bottom line) and didn't like. Saw no reason to drive another CRV that had leather seats and all the accouterments. The drive would be the same wouldn't it???? May end of with a new Accord if I can't get a reasonable payment. Going back with Otto tonight. Having lunch at Papa Vino's with 2 girlfriends that I haven't seen in awhile. Getting KC's license, just doin' stuff. Cleaning day so I better hit the shower and get out of here soon. Piano progressing nicely. Entertainer is about 99% and Farewell to Ireland about 95%. Stopped at Evola music yesterday and looked at the new pianos which sparked me to look at Craig's list. Lots out there for minimum costs. But, I need help from Mona (my piano teacher). Actually went there to look for new music. Need help there too. I sure don't make decisions easily alone! Am looking for a bus for Lansing in 3 weeks. My class is ready but I found out the bus co. I used the last couple years does not do extended day trips. Called another and they wanted over $900.00! We paid over $500.00 the last couple years and I thought that was ridiculous. I need help! It is what it is!

Delta Dog Days 3

 We have not been able to leave her alone for more than a few minutes.  UGH newborn.  She is a sweetheart and not bothered or barking at other dogs. After I worked at the Thrift shop I took her up to the pool deck and locked the gate.  She is so small  she got through the rungs of the deck.  ðŸ˜³  It is what it is.  She is so sweet but so is needy and so challenging.

Delta Dog Day 4

 Beyond belief, we both got to sleep upstairs in our bed all night!  She could not scale the new gate and settled in her crate in the kitchen around 2:00 AM.  Otto gave me the night but after she settled, he came upstairs and she did not bark or whine all night!!!   I came down after a shower, took her outside on her lead and then fed her.  Back upstairs to do my hair etc.  I heard "something" and came downstairs to find that she had opened the pantry (that has a magnet closure on it for dog/children safety) and had a bag of marshmallows on the floor, not opened thank goodness.   I blocked it with a chair but removed anything that she could get to if she opened it again (within her reach).  NOTE:  new plan for pantry.   Later in the day we were sitting outside with her and she picked some cherry tomatoes and ate them (yes I checked on Google that they are NOT poisonous for dogs).  After dinner with friends, she snatched a corncob an...

School's out, teacher let the fools out!

No more pencils, no more books, no more STUDENT'S dirty looks! What a group I had this year, eiy yie yie! I can honestly say if I never see some of that bunch again, it will be too soon. Fun party last night...too tired to sleep! Nice feeling to sleep in. ADK party this afternoon, piano lesson (may have to re-schedule), picking up new car in Ann Arbor and going to Amanda's 2 baseball games. Nice video chat with Andrew & Matt last night. They get so silly! Brian landed safely in L.A. at 2:09 our time. His plane from Philly was delayed over 3 hours. All day to go 5 hours sucks, but he is safe! Congratulations Matthew Sandoval on your middle school graduation. Have fun with your family. I cleaned out 2 filing cabinets of old 4th grade files and old materials we don't use any more.
