Pink iPhone day!

What a lot of phones to choose from. I was so embarrassed at how crappy my old razr worked. I had a pink one about 5 years ago and it got dropped in the toilet. Well, got a new one and dropped it so many times it split in two. took Amanda's old red one until I could get to the AT&T store. I really didn''t think I would get an iPhone but they talked me into it. I have all the aps on my iPod touch except the phone. So much to figure out (thanks Amanda for the quick tutoring session! Still have to get photos and ring tones. Fun with new stuff. The pink case sealed the deal. It is soooo blah looking just plain. We hit Sonic for lunch today and then spent all that time at the AT&T store. She ordered her new iPhone4. Don't hate me, I have the newest besides that! I can even video and upload everything to FB! Finally found an outdoor clock for us pool users, it is one of those that automatically update...we are in EDT and Otto hit that button but it still thinks we are on Pacific....oh well, I am sure it will update eventually! Also bought a new gazing globe as Matt dropped the pool cover reel on my old one! Went to Plymouth to do a couple things and stopped at the dollhouse place. Been having electrical problems with my dollhouse for over a year. Replaced the living room lights and tried to make new outlets..no avail. Also have a brownout on some of my lights. They don't do electrical repairs so.....I guess I will have to empty it and really go to work. Hmmmmm.....don't know what to do. Matt coming home for the weekend. Made a Maurice Salad for dinner. First Presbyterian Church Plymouth is having our 175th anniversary celebration Sunday and we are 28 year members! Parking is off-site and shuttling in. They are expecting big numbers. Even the paper will be there! Big doins'.......it is what it is!

 We have not been able to leave her alone for more than a few minutes.  UGH newborn.  She is a sweetheart and not bothered or barking at other dogs. After I worked at the Thrift shop I took her up to the pool deck and locked the gate.  She is so small  she got through the rungs of the deck.  ðŸ˜³  It is what it is.  She is so sweet but so is needy and so challenging.

Delta Dog Day 4

 Beyond belief, we both got to sleep upstairs in our bed all night!  She could not scale the new gate and settled in her crate in the kitchen around 2:00 AM.  Otto gave me the night but after she settled, he came upstairs and she did not bark or whine all night!!!   I came down after a shower, took her outside on her lead and then fed her.  Back upstairs to do my hair etc.  I heard "something" and came downstairs to find that she had opened the pantry (that has a magnet closure on it for dog/children safety) and had a bag of marshmallows on the floor, not opened thank goodness.   I blocked it with a chair but removed anything that she could get to if she opened it again (within her reach).  NOTE:  new plan for pantry.   Later in the day we were sitting outside with her and she picked some cherry tomatoes and ate them (yes I checked on Google that they are NOT poisonous for dogs).  After dinner with friends, she snatched a corncob an...

School's out, teacher let the fools out!

No more pencils, no more books, no more STUDENT'S dirty looks! What a group I had this year, eiy yie yie! I can honestly say if I never see some of that bunch again, it will be too soon. Fun party last night...too tired to sleep! Nice feeling to sleep in. ADK party this afternoon, piano lesson (may have to re-schedule), picking up new car in Ann Arbor and going to Amanda's 2 baseball games. Nice video chat with Andrew & Matt last night. They get so silly! Brian landed safely in L.A. at 2:09 our time. His plane from Philly was delayed over 3 hours. All day to go 5 hours sucks, but he is safe! Congratulations Matthew Sandoval on your middle school graduation. Have fun with your family. I cleaned out 2 filing cabinets of old 4th grade files and old materials we don't use any more. I think I filled 10 boxes to re-cycle. I didn't get my bulletin boards done for fall (who knows where I will be anyway!) or my books sorted (paperbacks). Administrative whispe...
