Watching an old episode that I missed earlier. Only 11 weeks left of school, 7 before Amanda is home for the summer and 2 until DC! I hate Doctor offices. Called for refills on my Advair as I have been gasping for breath when I do the 44 stairs at school...well, I need a physical...Just was there in October. Do the look at your insurance and decide how often you need to come in. $$$ cha ching! Oh, I need blood work, oh i need a chest x-ray, EKG, breathing test......NOT! Need a new Dr. Piano lesson tonight, recital was 90%...why can't we have do-overs????? Watching Grey's now...season finale????
All new music in piano....jeeze I am sooo ADD....alll over the board. Amanda you would love the make-up factor for Grey's tonight.
Bell Festival was ok last weekend. Love Lansing. Difficulty sleeping with others in my room...thanks for Ambien. Festival part was ok. Broke my engagement ring, either $250 for a new band or $15 for a quick fix that won't last. Since I hate the setting that I just had re-done (it is too heavy and and falls over all the time) I want a new ring....and a lot of other things! Week has been difficult. Don't like others, that are my peers, telling me what to do and asking me to be accountable to them when I am their equal. Rahiel's new baby, Jessica's absence, Katie's playground accident...sometimes it is all toooo much to take in. What will happen to our state? The gov. needs to be recalled. He is an idiot. He is destroying Michigan, unions and our schools. What will happen to HPS next year, Title I, and our jobs? This is why I keep as busy as I do. I can't take time to think things out. Can't wrap around it. Sore throat is looming. Letting my health guard down. Enjoyed Matt being home last weekend and the recital and the festival. Misplaced my driver's license in a "good" purse on Sunday. Went to UPS on Tuesday and needed the license for an ID. Can you believe you need a federal ID to mail a package now??? Had to run home and get my passport to mail a package. Remembered it was in the other purse before I went to Sec. of State to replace. What a world, what a world! Almost done with PT....3 more days! TGIF...It is what it is!

Delta Dog Days 3

 We have not been able to leave her alone for more than a few minutes.  UGH newborn.  She is a sweetheart and not bothered or barking at other dogs. After I worked at the Thrift shop I took her up to the pool deck and locked the gate.  She is so small  she got through the rungs of the deck.  ðŸ˜³  It is what it is.  She is so sweet but so is needy and so challenging.

Delta Dog Day 4

 Beyond belief, we both got to sleep upstairs in our bed all night!  She could not scale the new gate and settled in her crate in the kitchen around 2:00 AM.  Otto gave me the night but after she settled, he came upstairs and she did not bark or whine all night!!!   I came down after a shower, took her outside on her lead and then fed her.  Back upstairs to do my hair etc.  I heard "something" and came downstairs to find that she had opened the pantry (that has a magnet closure on it for dog/children safety) and had a bag of marshmallows on the floor, not opened thank goodness.   I blocked it with a chair but removed anything that she could get to if she opened it again (within her reach).  NOTE:  new plan for pantry.   Later in the day we were sitting outside with her and she picked some cherry tomatoes and ate them (yes I checked on Google that they are NOT poisonous for dogs).  After dinner with friends, she snatched a corncob an...

School's out, teacher let the fools out!

No more pencils, no more books, no more STUDENT'S dirty looks! What a group I had this year, eiy yie yie! I can honestly say if I never see some of that bunch again, it will be too soon. Fun party last night...too tired to sleep! Nice feeling to sleep in. ADK party this afternoon, piano lesson (may have to re-schedule), picking up new car in Ann Arbor and going to Amanda's 2 baseball games. Nice video chat with Andrew & Matt last night. They get so silly! Brian landed safely in L.A. at 2:09 our time. His plane from Philly was delayed over 3 hours. All day to go 5 hours sucks, but he is safe! Congratulations Matthew Sandoval on your middle school graduation. Have fun with your family. I cleaned out 2 filing cabinets of old 4th grade files and old materials we don't use any more. I think I filled 10 boxes to re-cycle. I didn't get my bulletin boards done for fall (who knows where I will be anyway!) or my books sorted (paperbacks). Administrative whispe...
