Unsuitable

With the "crises" over and being back home from a wonderful wedding weekend in Traverse City, I feel I can tell the story.

After a day of driving through the wine peninsula, visiting a winery, sitting in the sun on the water, it was time to get ready for the 4:00 wedding.  Otto pulled out his suit, only to find that it was an old suit he never got rid of.  The pants button didn't have a prayer.  He could not even get the jacket on.  I was 5 minutes short of being ready as the wedding and reception was a 4 minute walk from our hotel.

I had no words.   He had nothing.  Realizing that he would just have to miss the wedding, he took a trip to the Cherry City Mall.  My husband of 43 years, who NEVER shops was able to find a jacket and pants at Kohls and was in his seat just before the "I Do's".

Lesson learned, CLEAN YOUR CLOSET

The rest of the weekend was flawless!  Wonderful party Friday at the Top of the Park, great brunch on Sunday, same place and the most lovely wedding and venue.

Only the drive home sucked.  5 hours in pouring rain that was so heavy, it was hard to see the car in front of you, only a few feet ahead.  When we arrived home, there had not been a drop.   That changed within the hour.  We had a major downpour for over an hour.   Everything needed water.

Off to school to put my room back together tomorrow.  Last week of freedom, trying to squeeze in the dentist, check-ups,  Lucy's vet visit, cleaning that basement, sorting thru years of crap, and of course, some shopping and lunches!!!  Few wedding things to wrap up, there will be stuff to do until the last second.   This growing my hair out will be done!   Off to Chicago soon to celebrate Hannah's First Birthday!   Where did that year go?  It Is What It Is!!!!!!!!!!!!
