It Was a Dark & Stormy Night

Not really I just liked the title from Snoopy's writing his novel. Love Snoopy still. Gee maybe that started my love for beagles! It is just rather dark and stormy looking at 9:00 am. The East coast is bracing for hurricane Earl and I am bracing for the tennis group here tonight. We were planning on eating outside and doing margaritas & pool but it is suppose to be quite windy and high 70's. Not sure what tot do here. Putting drapes in DR up after cleaning and replacing sheer that shredded when I washed it. Between the 80.00 for that and the 40.00 to clean them...yikes. Washing the sheets right now (how exciting) and then have a few odds & ends to do. Avon order in this morning , can't believe I am starting my 27th year with that! Took care of all the girl stuff I had to do this week, called my orthopedic Dr. and found she moved east. Maybe I can see her and get a Dr. excuse for going to Wash. DC! LOL Ok, that what it is so I better get doing it so it can be it is what it is. Oh, temps. are suppose to be in the 60's tomorrow (start of football games) and then sorta crummy Sun & Mon. and back to 90 by Tuesday. Who is in charge of this anyway?

Delta Dog Day 5

 Delta is so sweet and so friendly.  We both had a good nights sleep as she is adjusting.   After meeting her in the kitchen this morning to check up on her and  then leaving to go take a shower, she went bat shit crazy, knocking over the trash in the kitchen in the "hand wave" container.  I heard it from the staircase and ran to the kitchen, her body was in the trash can!   She found a bone from last nights dinner and was frantically chewing and ingesting it.  I am not messing with a beagle and her food!   Now the trash can in on the list of "what to do next" and is located in the family room today.  It is what is beagle is.

Third of March

Already a week since I attended Amanda's rehearsal for Bridge to the Stars and went to her two classes. It has been so cold here this week and I am so jealous that Otto is there and not me! The towed car saga was a week ago already also. Cindy finally got her washer fixed after sitting there with a garage full of trip laundry and visitor laundry with more company this weekend. She will be washing until the cows come home. Work has been ok. Enjoyed lunch today at Royal Kabob with the Holbrook crew. In-service...not so much but at least I got to sit in with the middle school math group instead of a worthless workshop of what I don't teach! Watching Idol and eating my McDonald's chicken caesar salad with a glass of wine. Casey is restless. She was in the pantry the other day and ate some dry macaroni from an open box. Baby locks again.
