School's out, teacher let the fools out!

No more pencils, no more books, no more STUDENT'S dirty looks! What a group I had this year, eiy yie yie! I can honestly say if I never see some of that bunch again, it will be too soon. Fun party last night...too tired to sleep! Nice feeling to sleep in. ADK party this afternoon, piano lesson (may have to re-schedule), picking up new car in Ann Arbor and going to Amanda's 2 baseball games. Nice video chat with Andrew & Matt last night. They get so silly! Brian landed safely in L.A. at 2:09 our time. His plane from Philly was delayed over 3 hours. All day to go 5 hours sucks, but he is safe! Congratulations Matthew Sandoval on your middle school graduation. Have fun with your family. I cleaned out 2 filing cabinets of old 4th grade files and old materials we don't use any more. Halloween.....almost

Am dog tired and my hand is throbbing....dare I complain....only 3 weeks ago tomorrow from surgery.  After a haircut, 2 stops and bell choir, finally home.   No TV in family room after cable guy was here for 2 hours today.  Ready for a cool  (to me anyway) day of Halloween math coordinates puzzles (graphing on the coordinate plane to make a pumpkin picture) and lots of candy to hype them all up!!!  Don't know if I should get ready for Halloween, suppose to have super Halloween storm tomorrow....can we just postpone until Friday night????  Home made chicken soup tonight.....yum...It is what it is and this is my only blog for October.......darn!

Third of March

Already a week since I attended Amanda's rehearsal for Bridge to the Stars and went to her two classes. It has been so cold here this week and I am so jealous that Otto is there and not me! The towed car saga was a week ago already also. Cindy finally got her washer fixed after sitting there with a garage full of trip laundry and visitor laundry with more company this weekend. She will be washing until the cows come home. Work has been ok. Enjoyed lunch today at Royal Kabob with the Holbrook crew. In-service...not so much but at least I got to sit in with the middle school math group instead of a worthless workshop of what I don't teach! Watching Idol and eating my McDonald's chicken caesar salad with a glass of wine. Casey is restless. She was in the pantry the other day and ate some dry macaroni from an open box. Baby locks again. Final weeks until recital, putting the finishing touches on my two pieces but I worry that they won't be ready, even after a ye...
