May Day May Day

I don't know where the month went.  So busy  It has always been my favorite.  I missed the lilacs that bloomed while I was in Phoenix.  It was such an amazing trip, Kristen and Adam's wedding, visit with Cindy and Amanda & Bryce's wedding shower.  School is overwhelming.   Always is.  May should be twice as long as the other months!!!  So good to see Matt & Dana for Memorial Day weekend, not to mention our little Hannah-bee.   aMAYzing month.   It is what it is and it was good!

No more pencils, no more books, no more STUDENT'S dirty looks! What a group I had this year, eiy yie yie! I can honestly say if I never see some of that bunch again, it will be too soon. Fun party last night...too tired to sleep! Nice feeling to sleep in. ADK party this afternoon, piano lesson (may have to re-schedule), picking up new car in Ann Arbor and going to Amanda's 2 baseball games. Nice video chat with Andrew & Matt last night. They get so silly! Brian landed safely in L.A. at 2:09 our time. His plane from Philly was delayed over 3 hours. All day to go 5 hours sucks, but he is safe! Halloween.....almost

Am dog tired and my hand is throbbing....dare I complain....only 3 weeks ago tomorrow from surgery.  After a haircut, 2 stops and bell choir, finally home.   No TV in family room after cable guy was here for 2 hours today.  Ready for a cool  (to me anyway) day of Halloween math coordinates puzzles (graphing on the coordinate plane to make a pumpkin picture) and lots of candy to hype them all up!!!  Don't know if I should get ready for Halloween, suppose to have super Halloween storm tomorrow....can we just postpone until Friday night????  Home made chicken soup tonight.....yum...It is what it is and this is my only blog for October.......darn!

First Day of Summer Vay Cay

Wow Summer already!  Where to start?   So much to do!  Yesterday was in the 90's and we were at Mar  &  Dan's helping to get ready for Amber's graduation party.  Today when I finally got going I cleaned our bathroom and shower, our bedroom and the blue guest room, including 5 windows inside and out.  The curtains are all washed and ironed, scheduled a load of Dr. appts. for Amanda and changed one of mine.  Day went quickly.  Dark, cloudy, somewhat rainy day.  The only people I talked to was the Dr. offices!  Never left the house.  Read a magazine for lunch.  Pretty quiet here.  Sure miss Casey.  The jingle of her collar and tags, the click of her claws on the tile, letting her in and out, checking on her, sharing whatever I eat, listening to her get a drink at the water bowl...it is pretty empty here.  Wish she was still here, young and troublesome, under foot.  It's true, you never appreciate what ...
