F.O.R.D.
So my husband bought a new Escape last November. Took it to the dealer on Friday for several little things including a knock in the engine. They still have it, may have it for the next week (he has a loaner) and are talking about having to replace the engine with like 6,000 miles on it.....WHAT???? I am not going to make any negative FORD comments because I like his car and it was my idea to get this. I am on my 2nd Honda and he drove one for years before he put 200,000 miles on it and something major broke and he hit the wall at 70mph about 6 years ago. Matt worked for Honda, drives one and talked me into my Accord after my Mountaineer that I put 160,000 miles on. (I loved that more than ANY car I have ever driven and still miss it.) I am just worried that this is a sign of other things to come. Now mind you, I had a Chevy wagon, a Taurus wagon, an Aerostar (ugh and ugly), 3 Windstars (the 1st one had to have the transmission replaced at under 50,000 miles, suddenly lost reverse!), and I never dissed Ford, however........get 'er done! Whatever it takes! It is what it is.
