What a Glorious Day!
Finally, spring break. Matt and I went to Polish Market in Hamtramck today and bought pierogi for dinner. We walked Joseph Campau street, stopped at New Palace bakery, went to the Polish Art Center, drove around and stopped at St. Florian, parked and went in as they were preparing for the blessing of the baskets. OMG! What a beautiful cathedral. I have wanted to go in there for the 12 years I have worked in Hamtramck. It was better than I knew it would be. What a landmark. I would love to go there for services! Ready for Easter! Table set, things that I can do ahead are done. Eggs dyed, haircut, nails done, sausages purchased from Polish Market, pysanki ready, so ready for taste of chocolate after 6 long weeks. Attended Stations of the Cross, Tennebrae service and ready, ready, ready for Easter service tomorrow. What a Glorious day.....it is what it is and I am ready for a week off.
